This disclaimer applies to LUMINA (Just A Neural Entity Thing), the artificial intelligence system embedded in the Inventi Matrix platform and the LUMINA Private App, both operated by Physis Defense LLC. By using LUMINA you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this disclaimer.

1. Nature of AI System

LUMINA is an artificial intelligence language model. LUMINA is not a human being, not a licensed professional of any kind, and does not possess independent judgment, credentials, or legal standing. LUMINA generates responses based on statistical patterns in training data and may produce outputs that appear authoritative but are not verified facts.

LUMINA operates on the Inventi Matrix platform and the LUMINA Private App. These products are owned and operated by Physis Defense LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company.

2. No Professional Advice

LUMINA does not provide and cannot substitute for professional advice in any field, including but not limited to:

• Legal advice — Nothing LUMINA says constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship.
• Medical advice — LUMINA's outputs are not diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or medical opinions.
• Financial advice — Nothing LUMINA says constitutes investment, tax, or financial planning advice.
• Psychological or mental health advice — LUMINA is not a therapist, counselor, or mental health professional.
• Engineering or safety-critical advice — LUMINA's technical outputs have not been reviewed or certified by licensed engineers.

All outputs from LUMINA are provided for informational and research purposes only. You should always consult a qualified, licensed professional before making decisions based on any information provided by LUMINA.

3. Accuracy Limitations

AI systems, including LUMINA, can and do produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information. This phenomenon is sometimes called "hallucination." LUMINA may:

• State incorrect facts with apparent confidence
• Cite non-existent sources, patents, or publications
• Produce outdated information from its training data
• Misinterpret ambiguous instructions
• Generate plausible-sounding but technically incorrect technical specifications

You must independently verify all information provided by LUMINA before relying on it for any purpose. This is especially critical for patent research, prior art searches, engineering specifications, and any regulated domain.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PHYSIS DEFENSE LLC, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF LUMINA OR RELIANCE ON ANY OUTPUT GENERATED BY LUMINA.

This includes without limitation: damages resulting from decisions made based on LUMINA's outputs; loss of business, profits, or data; and any harm arising from inaccurate technical, legal, medical, or financial information provided by LUMINA.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of damages, so the above may not apply to you in full. In such states, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

5. Defense & Technical Content

Inventi Matrix serves defense contractors, researchers, and engineers. LUMINA may produce outputs related to defense systems, weapons, military specifications, and sensitive technical engineering. Such outputs:

• Are generated for research and ideation purposes only
• Must be reviewed and verified by qualified defense engineers and subject matter experts before any operational, procurement, or manufacturing use
• Do not represent certified engineering designs or approved technical specifications
• May not reflect current military standards, MIL-SPECs, or acquisition regulations

Physis Defense LLC expressly disclaims all liability for any harm arising from operational use of LUMINA's defense-related outputs without independent expert verification.

6. Medical Content (MedGemma Integration)

The Inventi Matrix platform includes a MedGemma integration that can process health-related queries and generate medically-adjacent outputs. You acknowledge that:

• MedGemma outputs are AI-generated and are not medical diagnoses
• No output from the MedGemma integration constitutes a physician's recommendation or clinical opinion
• All health-related outputs must be reviewed by a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare professional before acting on them
• Physis Defense LLC is not a HIPAA covered entity; do not submit PHI (protected health information) to LUMINA

7. Export Controls

Users of Inventi Matrix and the LUMINA Private App are solely responsible for their compliance with all applicable export control laws and regulations, including:

• International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 C.F.R. Parts 120–130
• Export Administration Regulations (EAR), 15 C.F.R. Parts 730–774
• Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations
• All other applicable U.S. and foreign export control, sanctions, and import laws

Defense tier users are reminded that LUMINA's outputs related to defense articles, defense services, or dual-use technologies may be subject to ITAR or EAR controls. It is your responsibility to determine whether any export license is required before transmitting LUMINA outputs to foreign persons or entities.

8. Governing Law

This disclaimer is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under this disclaimer shall be resolved in the courts of Massachusetts.
